Your furniture should be:
Clean and free of stains, rips, or pet hair
Fully functional (drawers, doors, and parts working properly)
Ready for use without needing repairs

We’ll pick up your accepted items from your porch or garage — completely free.
$75 In-Home Pickup
We’ll remove items from inside your home, saving you the effort of moving them yourself.

We currently serve Wayne, Macomb, and Oakland counties. If your address is within this area, you can request a pickup below.
Free pickup is available for items placed in your porch or garage. In-home pickup is available for a $75 fee.
A Furniture Bank team member will contact you during business hours to review your submission and provide the next available pickup date.
Your pickup is not scheduled until it has been confirmed by our staff.

Have items that don’t qualify for donation or need to be removed from your home?

$100 per item
We remove furniture that is older or not in good condition, including • Bookcases, buffets, desks • Sofas and sectionals • TV stands and cabinets • And more
$125 per item
We’ll remove armoires, China cabinets, entertainment centers and treadmills. We do not take appliances.
Fast Track Service
Need the stuff out in a hurry? FOR ONLY $100, we can make a special trip outside of our normal pickup schedule.
Extra Mile

Furniture Donation FAQs
We accept gently used furniture that is clean, fully functional, and ready for immediate use in a home. This includes items like mattresses, sofas, dressers, tables, and chairs. If you’re unsure, you can upload photos with your request and our team will review them.
We are unable to accept items that are damaged, heavily worn, stained, torn, or require repairs. Items such as appliances, certain large or outdated furniture, and anything not in usable condition may not qualify. However, many of these items can be removed through our Premium Pickup Service.
Yes — pickup is free when your items are placed in a porch, garage, or easily accessible location.
If items need to be removed from inside your home, a $75 in-home pickup fee applies.
Simply complete the pickup request form on this page with details about your items. Our team will contact you to review your submission and schedule your pickup date.
After submitting your request, a team member will contact you to confirm your pickup and provide the next available date. We also call the day before your scheduled pickup with a 4-hour arrival window.
No — if your items are placed outside in a porch or garage, you do not need to be home.
If you’ve selected in-home pickup, someone will need to be present.
