September 16th, 2013 - Thank you to everyone from The Chrysler Group and Perfect Touch Painting who came out and painted our warehouse. Anyone that has visited our facility lately has seen the vast improvement that has been made to its appearance, so thanks again to these kind volunteers for helping make that possible. May 14th, 2013 - We would like to thank everyone that came out and made our Euchre Tournament a great success. Events such as these help to bring our mission to those in need so watch our website for news regarding future events!
November 29th, 2012 - One of the things we need the most here at the Furniture Bank is mattresses. Agoal of ours is to give children beds to sleep in, and we can't make that a reality without your help. If you have mattresses to donate, please give us a call at (248)332-1300. Have our truck come to your home and help us make our mission a reality today.
November 20th, 2012 - From all of us here at the Furniture Bank, we would like to thank you for joining us at the third annual Comedy Night. With the help of our generous volunteers, friends, and sponsors it was a great success. A good laugh for a great cause was had by all, so thanks again and we will see you next year.
July 18th, 2012 - The Furniture Bank would like to invite you to our third annual Comedy Night being held on Thursday, October 18th. Join us for a night of laughs, and help us make a house a home for families in Oakland and Macomb counties. Information can be found here.

January 24th, 2012 – The Furniture Bank thanks Office Furniture Solutions of Commerce Township for its generous donation of an “office makeover.” The cubes and furniture that they’ve installed us have really spruced things up here! (We’d also like to thank an anonymous donor that provided carpet and some doors, which has also been a significant upgrade.) December 19th, 2011 - The Furniture Bank thanks the Metropolitan Detroit Building Superintendents Association (MDBSA) for its generous support of our mission! The MDBSA fosters closer relationships among building managers, operators and superintendents to improve the methods and efficiency of commercial building operations throughout the region. December 12th, 2011 - Furniture Bank announces changes to pickup policy for 2012. For years, the Furniture Bank has provided free pickup service for our donors. And while we will continue to do so, we will be modifying our policies in 2012 to continue offering free pickup while asking a small charge for the convenience of taking the items out of donors’ homes. October 13th, 2011 - The ReSale Connection and Furniture Bank Warehouse Sale was October 21 & 22, 2011. Proceeds from the sale benefited Assistance League of SE MI and Furniture Bank of Southeastern Michigan. Thanks to everyone that attended.
August 3rd, 2011 - The Furniture Bank seeks gently-used beds for children and families in need, and our friends at WJBK have produced a public service announcement to help us get the word out. Click here to see it.
